I arrive at bedtime and get everything set up.  As parents head off to bed I watch over your little one until they get hungry.  If the mother is nursing, I help with that and then whisk baby off for a change and a burp and get them all tucked back down until the next feeding. If the family is bottle feeding, I clean all gear and get everything ready for the next feeding cycle.  The role for a overnight doula is in-home nursing support for families with new born babies.
